Bóthar founder, Peter Ireton, is walking from Limerick to Killaloe and back this Saturday, April 26th to mark his 62nd birthday. That’s a distance of 62km, a kilometre for every year of his life.
Peter is hoping supporters will put their money where his “kilometres” are and is asking people to sponsor him a €1 per kilometre. The 12 hour walking challenge aims to raise €62,000, which will help equip Bóthar’s creamery located in Rusizi, Rwanda. If you’d like to support Peter, simply log onto www.bothar.org <http://www.bothar.org/> or phone Peter on 061 414142.
