Clare defeated Tipperary by 1-23 to 0-12 in this evening’s Electric Ireland Munster Minor Hurling Championship clash in Cusack Park, Ennis.
Tipperary had three players sent off (Willie Connors, Conor McCullagh and Tommy Nolan) in a game that saw Clare outscore their opponents by 1-14 to 0-2 in the second half.
Clare’s single goal came courtesy of a converted 50th minute penalty by Aaron Shanagher, who scored 1-13.
Next up for Clare is Waterford in the Munster Semi-Final which will be played at Walsh Park, Waterford, on the weekend of the 25th/26th June. Cork play Limerick in the other game.
