Ms. O’Gorman – a Microbiology Technician with Wyeth Nutrition in Askeaton – was selected from 17 ladies from all over Clare.

Joanne, who is the daughter of Jackie and Joan O’ Gorman, will join Daithí Ó Sé on stage as she represents the Banner County at the Rose of Tralee Regional Finals in Portlaoise over the June Bank Holiday weekend.

The coordinator of the event Mr. Ciarán O’Connell said: “The night was a great success with a full house of over 250 members of the public, VIPs and some local business in attendants to witness the talented young county Clare ladies on stage, but also to experience a taste of what the whole ROSE OF TRALEE had to offer.”
