Minister to launch Brian Ború Trail in Killaloe

The National Brian Ború Trail will be launched by Jimmy Deenihan, T.D., Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht at St. Flannan’s Cathedral, Killaloe, Co. Clare, at 1pm next Friday (25th April 2014).

The event, which is hosted by Clare County Council in association with Killaloe Ballina 2014, will be attended by National Brian Ború Programme representatives from Tipperary, Clare, Armagh and Dublin.

Historical sites in Armagh, Clare, Dublin and Tipperary relating to the life and times of Brian Ború are promoted in the newly developed guide marking the 1000th anniversary of the death of the Last High King of Ireland.
