21 Clare sports clubs receive funding

euroClare has this year recorded a €300,000 increase in the amount of funding it has received under the Sports Capital Programme.

21 local sports organisations have received funding totalling €1,036,609, up from €730,519 in 2013.

Clare organisations and projects that have received funding under the 2014 Programme include Avenue United FC €18,000; Ballina Killaloe Sports & Community Facilities Development Co. Ltd. €90,000; Bridge United AFC €40,000.00; Clarecastle Sports Complex € 20,000; CORBALLY UNITED € 20,000; Doolin Boxing Club € 14,609; Kildysart GAA € 120,000; Kilmaley GAA Club € 118,000; Loughgraney Community Development Association Ltd £45,000; Park Ranger AFC Limited € 7,000; Parteen St. Nicholas GAA Club € 90,000; Ruan GAA Club € 22,000; Shannon Athletics Club Ltd € 45,000; Sixmilebridge GAA Club € 80,000; Smith O Brien gaa club € 118,000; St Marys AC Clare € 22,000; St. Breckans GAA € 75,000; Tulla United AFC € 17,000 and Whitegate GAA Club € 75,000.
