Video provides stunning bird’s-eye view of West Clare

West Clare has never looked so well. That’s the general verdict of those who have viewed a new video documenting some of The Banner County’s most scenic locations.

Waterford-based photographer Alan Magner, who is originally from Clare, has uploaded the 13 minute production to YouTube where it has already received hundreds of hits since it was uploaded on Monday.

The video features HD footage captured by a stabilised camera attached to a quadcopter flying over and around the Cliffs of Moher, Bridges of Ross, Kilrush, Loop Head, Cappa and Lahinch.

Meanwhile, Sixmilebridge photographer David Hunt has produced this video of the Diamond Rocks in Kilkee. The time-lapse was shot on Monday evening.

Founder and Editor, Mark Dunphy established The Clare Herald in December 2007. The native of Connolly, County Clare, is also founder/operator of Dunphy Public Relations and Irish Weather Online.
