Shannon Airport was the warmest spot in Ireland last month, according to Met Éireann.

The County Clare airport recorded an average temperature of 17.1°C. Overall, sunshine totals was surprisingly below average with approximately 94% of average monthly sunshine totals for July being recorded.

Rainfall was well below average in Clare however, with 35.8mm being recorded at Met Éireann’s meteorological station at Shannon. The average monthly rainfall for July is 65.9c.
