p style=”text-align: justify;”>Lynch’s Centra based in Ennis in Clare could be laying claim to title of Best Forecourt in Ireland for Hygiene and Food Safety on September 26th 2014, having been announced as one of the finalists at the 2014 National Q Mark Awards.
Announcing the list of finalists yesterday, Ms. Irene Collins, the Managing Director of Excellence Ireland Quality Association, announced that the team from Lynch’s Centra have surpassed the National standards of Hygiene and Food Safety and have set a new benchmark that all other forecourts should be aiming for.
She went on to say that, “The nomination for Best Forecourt in Ireland for Hygiene and Food Safety recognises that Lynch’s Centra is operating at the highest standard of Hygiene and Food Safety in the country”.
Lynch’s Centra has been serving the Ennis community since its opening in 2008. The business now employs sixty people and offers a comprehensive, varied range of fresh food including delicious cooked dinners and gourmet sandwiches. Lynch’s boasts the distinction of operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and has weekly dealings with fifteen local suppliers. Lynch’s also sponsors two local GAA clubs and plays a significant role in the local community.
On hearing that they had been nominated for this prestigious award, Barry Lynch, Manager of the store said, “The nomination is yet another reason to be proud of my team and of what we have accomplished together. It is encouraging to have our work recognised”.
