Irish Milliner Aoife Harrison is featuring in the Clare & Irish Fashion Designers Showcase on 30th October in Old Ground Hotel and also teaching a masterclass in Ennis Creative Arts Centre.
For the 2nd year running Aoife is taking part in the highly anticipated Fashion Event of the Year as part of Ennis Fashion Week.
Organised by Sinead Madden, the Clare & Irish Fashion Designer Event showcases Ireland’s best creative talents. The event also hosts the Social & Personal Ireland’s Next Top Blogger/Stylists Awards.
Speaking about the event Aoife said “I am so excited to be part of the line up in this years show. Its a great opportunity for me to show my collection in Ennis. I’m honoured to be included with so many great Irish Designers”.
Aoife is no stranger to Ennis as she will be down 2 weeks after the Fashion Show teaching a class in Ennis Creative Arts Centre. The artistic hub, located outside Tubber, was established by Shirley Bredin and has a loyal following to the extensive range of classes that Shirley offers there. Classes cover topics from Upholstery to Crochet to Decoupage. Aoife will be down on Friday 14th teaching a class in the evening time. The class is a Christmas night out where students can enjoy a glass of wine and will make a headpiece in their chosen colours. No experience is required and will be a great night out in the lead up to Christmas.
Aoife, who includes the First Lady of Ireland; Sabina Higgins as one of her clients said: “I love teaching Millinery classes as I really enjoy seeing how creative people can be. I am often inspired by the pieces my students make!”
