Arts centre to be developed in Clarecastle

ClarecastleA new Arts and Crafts centre is being developed in Clarecastle with plans to open in March 2015.

The centre will complement a new Antiques Centre (the old Coach House public house and the adjoining building) which will include a coffee shop and house a number of antique dealers with a large variety of stock.

The project has received the support of the major bus tour operators and it will be a stopping point for most of the buses along the western corridor (Wild Atlantic Way).

The developers are interested in hearing from artists and craftworkers who may be interested in supplying stock or renting a work area. There are a limited number of work areas available and applications will be accepted from arts and crafts workers throughout Ireland.
