Minor delays have been reported at Dublin Airport after two Ryanair planes “clipped each other”, according to eyewitnesses.
Passengers on board the jets say the wing tips of the two aircraft clipped each other as one was taxiing to a stand.
No passengers were injured in the incident.
Meanwhile, in a statement issued this morning the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) said: “IAA can confirm that two aircraft were involved in an incident at Dublin Airport this morning and emergency services attended the scene. The Air Accident Investigation Unit (AAIU) of the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport has been notified and will conduct a further investigation. Dublin Airport is now fully operational, although passengers may anticipate some delays as a result of this morning’s incident.”
