An Ennis-based specialist healthcare recruitment group have announced the creation of 100 new jobs as part of a €5m investment in their operations.
TTM Healthcare say the new positions, which will be created over the next three years, will be a mix of compliance and recruitment consultants, as well as sales professionals based in Ennis, Cork, Dublin, London, Preston and Berlin and include a number of permanent healthcare professional roles being created in their healthcare services division.
Set up in Ennis in 2002, TTM Healthcare is one of the largest recruitment agencies in the country and the expansion announced today will see TTM open a new office in Cork, adding to its existing network of Irish offices in Ennis and Dublin. The company is also developing a presence in the west and midlands.
In addition to expanding its operations in the UK and Germany, TTM will also establish a presence for the company in the Middle East in the coming months by opening an office in Abu Dhabi to service the rapidly expanding UAE market.
Fine Gael TD for Clare, Pat Breen, said the new positions were further evidence that the economic recovery is strengthening.
“This is a vote of confidence in the Irish economy and particularly in Co. Clare. The Government is focused on securing the recovery by prioritising job creation and investment. There are increasing signs of revival in the economy and it is our priority to secure and strengthen the recovery.
“Later today the Taoiseach will open the new Genworth Financial International Business Centre in Shannon which supports the needs of over 3 million customers around the globe and houses 400 staff, representing 17 countries and 16 languages. This demonstrates a further commitment the business is making to the region, with a €15 million investment.”
“Our economic plan is working. The decision to reduce the income tax burden over three years, which began in October’s budget, will create jobs as domestic spending and consumer confidence will grow, the incentive to work is strengthened, and investment by business is encouraged,” added Deputy Breen.
Clare Fine Gael TD Joe Carey added: “The announcement this morning of a substantial investment and expansion by TTM Healthcare is excellent news for County Clare. I understand the majority of these jobs will be at the company headquarters in Ennis, and will come on stream over the next three years. Further cementing its ambitions, the company also has plans to expand to the Middle East in the months ahead, marking it out as an exciting and forward thinking company.”
