Kilbane concert to support Oatfield Church works

James Kilbane - BlackCountry and Gospel singer James Kilbane will perform a concert at Oatfield Church  in Sixmilebridge in support of the ongoing development work at the church and grounds on Saturday 6th December 2014 at 8pm.  

This will be Kilbane’s first concert visit the Sixmilebridge and the Parish of O’Callaghan’s Mills area.

The Oatfield Church and surrounding site has been active community faith focal point since the mid seventeenth century and renovation was needed.

An original barn type church the church renovation work has been underway in two phases.  Phase one consisted of new heating, roof insulation and painting of the building.  Phase two development is to develop a car parking space for forty cars, a prayer garden with Stations of the Cross and a Grotto towards the river close to the church.

Tickets for James Kilbane’s concert at Oatfield Church on Saturday the 6th December are available from Reddan’s Post Office in Sixmilebridge, McLoughney’s Newsagents in Shannon, Veritas in Ennis, Clancy’s Newsagents in Blackwater, The Abbey Bookshop Augustinian Church in Limerick and after Masses at Kilkishen and O’Callaghan’s Mills on November 29th and 30th.  Tickets are also available from the development committee or direct from Joe at 087 2355277.

The concert at Oatfield church starts at 8 pm and doors open at 7.30 pm.
