3The students of Shannon College of Hotel Management are moving away from the familiar world of luxury hotels and taking to the streets of Limerick City in support of ADAPT Services.

ADAPT Services Limerick offer respect, support and safety to women and their children where domestic abuse has been experienced. ADAPT provide emergency accommodation and a number of different support services to women in Limerick City and County.

The charity relies heavily on donations to continue offering the important services they provide to our community.

Students of Shannon College will take part in a “Sleep Out” in the heart of Limerick City to raise much needed funds for their chosen charity.  The ‘Sleep Out’ will take place from 5pm on Friday 12th December and will continue until 7pm on Saturday 13th December. They will be making their beds outside the AIB Bank on O’Connell Street, Limerick City and in the spirit of Christmas will be hoping people will be supportive of the cause.
