The Engineering and Technology Teachers Association (ETTA) has awarded 100 students, including two Clare students, for their achievements in Junior Certificate Metalwork, Technical Graphics and Technology, Leaving Certificate Applied Engineering, Leaving Certificate Engineering, Design and Communication Graphics and Technology.
Isadora DeMelo Oliveria of Colaiste Muire Ennis received a ETTA Gold Medal for the Best Leaving Certificate Technology Higher Level Result. Meanwhile, Cian Reilly of St Flannan’s College Ennis wh was presented with his ETTA Silver Medal for Top Male Result in the Junior Certificate Higher Level Technical Graphics.
An ETTA spokesperson said: “To the students, we say a massive well done. Your commitment and work in our subject areas is a source of great pride for all. Your youthful enthusiasm and innovative expertise will ensure that as we go forward from today, the world of Engineering, Metalwork, Technology and Design and Communication Graphics is in the very safest hands. Thank you for that and on behalf of the ETTA we wish you all the very brightest futures in whatever areas of employment or further studies that you might find yourselves in.”
