Adèle King (aka Twink) will not take part in this year’s Jack and the Beanstalk panto at University Concert Hall Limerick due to “contractual and artistic differences”.

Twink had originally been cast as the Dame in the panto, but has now been released from her role.

A statement issued the University Concert Hall Limerick today read: “This year’s Panto, Jack & The Beanstalk, will no longer feature Adèle King who has been released from her role as Dame due to contractual and artistic differences.

“Jack and the Beanstalk will feature Fair City’s “Mondo” George McMahon as Jack, while Voice of Ireland and Celebrity Bainisteoir contestant Richie Hayes takes on the role of Unbelievable Man. Leanne Moore, Myles Breen, Richard Lynch and Trevor O’Connell presently complete the cast, with further announcement to follow.”

Jack and the Beanstalk runs at University Concert Hall Limerick from December 16 2014 until January 4 2015.
