Clare’s dual camogie and football star, Eimear Considine could be on her way to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for the 2016 Olympics.
The Kilmihil woman starred for the Ireland Women’s Sevens rugby side in Amsterdam, Holland, at the weekend as part of the team’s preparations for the European Championship regional qualifiers, which take place over two consecutive weekends in Russia (13-14 June) and France (20-21 June).
Considine, who has been playing senior football and camogie for the Banner county in recent years, scored a hat-trick of tries in a challenge match against Finland.
Had an amazing weekend in Amsterdam! So proud to put on that Irish jersey for the first time!… https://t.co/K152q9Dh6d

If Ireland fail to win in Russia next month, the 2016 World Repechage offers another possible route.
To qualify for that Ireland would have to finish runner-up in the European Championship or secure a spot in the top three of the European Repechage, being held in Lisbon this July.
