The Irish Greyhound Board and Kerry County Board have announce the return of the Race of Champions to The Kingdom Greyhound Stadium.

Taking place on Friday 19th June at The Kingdom Greyhound Stadium in Tralee, the event is now in its 7th year and will be for the third year again sponsored by BoyleSports.

The best national canine stars in the country will battle it out for the €15,000 winning prize fund. Racing from the event will also be broadcast live on RTE 2 and online on www.rte.ie between 8.00pm – 9.00pm.

Declan Dowling, General Manager at The Kingdom Greyhound Stadium said, “The Race of Champions is the highlight of our racing calendar here at The Kingdom Greyhound Stadium. This year we are delighted to welcome back BoyleSports as the main title sponsor of what is regarded as one of the most prestigious greyhound races in the country. Once again we will be joined by the Kerry County Board and GAA players on the night, on what is an important fundraising event for their training fund so I would ask the community to get behind them and come along for an entertaining night where we will showcase all that is great about Kerry and sport.”
