Surreal rural Ireland comedy comes to Kilkee

charolaisCultúrlann Sweeney Kilkee will host Charolais, a critically acclaimed play and box office success this Saturday at 8pm.

Set on a farm, the play has its heart firmly rooted in rural Ireland with many references to farming, cooking, the ICA, as well as a Charolais Heifer who speaks French.

Noni Stapleton, who wrote and performs, is currently starring in the very successful series Penny Dreadful (already successful on US TV networks, Noni plays Timothy Dalton’s wife), which should hit the TV screens on on Sky Atlantic early 2015.
