
Dual intercounty star for Clare and Kilmihil native Eimear Considine has been named in the Ireland Women’s Sevens squad to play in the first round of the European Olympic Qualifiers.
The Qualifiers take place in Kazan in Russia this weekend (13-14th June)
Considine is among four uncapped players at senior international sevens level in the squad of 12.
Ireland have been drawn in pool B with Spain, France and Ukraine.
The European Championship will continue in France on 20-21 June. The winner qualifies for the Olympics in Rio in 2016.
