euro2A lucky Clare punter has bagged a huge cash windfall courtesy of a 50 cent four-number accumulator on the EuroMillions.

After this week paying out over €10K to a lucky Kildare punter, whose four dog accumulator on the Irish Greyhound Derby clicked on Friday, a  Clare customer of BoyleSports has won over €16K with their Euromillions accumulator.

The incredible win, which consisted of the four numbers 9, 22, 27 and 36, had a total stake of a miniscule 50 cent and returned a staggering €16,500.50. The customer wishes to remain anonymous, but BoyleSports can reveal the winning bet was placed in one of their Co. Clare shops.

All four numbers were drawn in the EuroMillions Plus draw and would have returned €2,000 had it been placed with the National Lottery.

Aoife Heffron, PR Executive at BoyleSports, commented “This is the second large payout on accumulator we have had in two days so we are really starting to feel the sting. We want to offer our sincere congratulations to the Clare punter on their amazing €16,500.50 win for the next to nothing stake of just 50c.”

She added “It is windfalls like this that show how little stakes can return massive rewards and with the punter looking at just a €2,000 win if they had went the traditional route, it highlights the benefit of placing your lucky lotto numbers on in your local BoyleSports shop.”
