The GAA has announced RTÉ and GAAGO as Official Broadcast Partners of the 2015 EirGrid International Rules Test match when Ireland will take on Australia under lights in Croke Park on Saturday, November 21st at 7pm.
Like the 2014 series won by Australia in Perth, this year’s series will be played over one winner-takes-all single test and will be broadcast live on both RTÉ2 and RTÉ Radio 1 on the island of Ireland.
People living, working or traveling abroad will also be able to watch the test using GAAGO, the Association’s global match streaming service in partnership with RTÉ Digital.
Uachtarán Chumann Lúthchleas Gael Aogán Ó Fearghail welcomed the arrangement and said; “Representing your country on an international stage is a fantastic achievement for all of the players and management involved. These broadcast arrangements will ensure that the domestic and indeed international exposure they so richly deserve is recognized and I anticipate a sizeable audience will tune in for what promises to be a fantastic occasion for both countries.”
