High pressure to bring settled spell of weather

sky-912238_1280Met Éireann is forecasting drier weather with temperatures hitting the mid to high teens during the final week of September and the opening days of October.

High pressure will build over or close to Ireland in the coming days resulting in a rise in temperatures and a reprieve from the rain.

Scattered showers or drizzle are likely during Thursday and Saturday but dry weather is expected to take hold thereafter with the Mid West enjoying the warmest conditions in south-easterly winds.

Temperatures across the region will hit 17c or higher over the next 7 to 10 days.
