American Photographer Dorothea Lange took 2,400 photographs during her visit to Ireland in 1954. She spent most of her stay in County Clare.

  1. These are wonderful photographs. I am more familiar with her images of the Great Depression here in America. I grew up with Dorothea — she was my godmother.
    The photographs of Ireland she took for a Life magazine story she did.
