Clare’s ISPCA Dog Warden will feature prominenbtly in a RTE documentary to air tonight about the Pit Bull breed of dog and its owners.

Frankie Coote from Ennis features in ‘Pit Bull’, part of the Reality Bites strand, on RTÉ2 at 9.30pm.

Issues like illegal dog fighting and dog baiting are tackled and viewers will also see first hand the lasting impact a serious dog attack can have on a child.

Also featured is Lily Colgan from Artane, who owns four Staffordshire Bull Terriers. She is the champion of restricted breeds who believes its ‘deed not breed’ which should define a dangerous dog.
