Clare surfing spot makes Ireland and Britain Top 10 List

aileenThe world famous Aileen’s Wave located at the foot of the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare has been named one of Ireland and Britain’s top surfing locations.

Surfholidays.com, the world’s leading surf travel provider, polled surfers from all over the world to develop a shortlist of 100 surf waves from which a Top 10 List was finalised.

Aileen’s Wave, which can reach heights of up to 50ft, joins Easkey, Co. Sligo, and The Peak, Bundoran, as one of the three Irish entries on the list.
