U21 and Minor Hurling and Football draws are made

Ken Morrisey’s Clare minor hurling side will meet Anthony Daly’s Limerick in the opening round of the 2016 Munster Minor Hurling Championship.

The draw was made by Munster GAA on Thursday evening along with the draw for the Under 21 Hurling and U21 and Minor Football Championships.

Donal Moloney’s U2 hurling side will be looking to put in a repeat performance against Waterford when they meet in the Munster semi-final next year.

In the U21 Munster Football Championship, Clare have been drawn at home against Cork with the winners playing Waterford in the semi-final.

The Minor footballers will face Limerick in the Quarter Final with a tie against the winners of Kerry and Waterford awaiting the victors.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that the 2016 Munster Senior Hurling Championship Semi-Final clash between Clare and Waterford will take place in Semple Stadium, Thurles. The fixture date has yet to be confirmed.
