Cooraclare florist shortlisted for Weddings Online award

Stalks and StemsA Cooraclare florist has been shortlisted for a national award by Irish Weddings Online.

Stalks and Stems Florist, which was established in 2003 by Caroline O’Doherty, has been shortlisted in the Floral Designer of the Year category of the weddingsonline Awards 2016.

Voting closes on Wednesday 18th November 2015 at 5pm.  Vote here.

Gary Collins, a photographer with The Clare Herald, has also been nominated as one of the best wedding photographers in the country. A native of Newmarket-on-Fergus, Collins has recently launched his own photography business, Gary Collins Photography.

Meanwhile, The Inn at Dromoland, Bunratty Castle Hotel and the Armada Hotel received nominations as the best hotel venue in Munster. The hotels were both represented in the nominees for best wedding venue co-ordinator with Claire Coughlan, Heather Lee and Marita Morrissey respectively selected. The Bridal Emporium in Miltown Malbay is nominated again 5th year in a row.

Founder and Editor, Mark Dunphy established The Clare Herald in December 2007. The native of Connolly, County Clare, is also founder/operator of Dunphy Public Relations and Irish Weather Online. His media career began in 1999 when he commenced employment with Clare FM after securing a degree in Media & Communications and History from Mary Immaculate College. In 2005, he departed the position of Head of News and Current Affairs to establish Dunphy Public Relations.
