Santa Claus made a guest appearance at the switching on of the Ennis Christmas Lights on Friday.

The Mayor of the Municipal District of Ennis, Cllr. Pat Daly performed the official switch-on at the Christmas Tree in the Market, while entertainment was provided by Scoil Chriost Ri, Cloughleigh and local Theatrical Group, Pantaloons.

In conjunction with the switch-on of the Christmas Lights, Ennis Lions Club launched its Yellow Ribbon Project in aid of Cahercalla Hospice.

Clare County Council’s Saturday Parking incentive continues with Free Parking from 2.00pm on Saturdays in all public carparks.
