Tipperary will have to do without forward Patrick ‘Bonner’ Maher and defender Michael Cahill when they make the trip to Cusack Park to take on Clare in this Sunday’s Allianz National Hurling League Quarter Final.
Maher has picked up a knee injury while corner back Cahill has a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, Jason Forde has been passed fit having overcome a hamstring injury picked up during UL’s Fitzgibbon Cup campaign.
Clare meanwhile, are without the services of Tony Kelly, David McInerney, Seadhna Morey, Jack Browne, Shane Golden and Shane O’Donnell, due to injury.
Podge Collins will be travelling with the county’s football side as they take on Kildare in Newbridge.
Peter Duggan however, is fit again while Colin Ryan is due to return from honeymoon on Saturday.
Throw-in on Sunday is at 3.45pm with the winners facing Kilkenny or Offaly in the semi-final.
