The County Clare native who wishes to remain anonymous placed a €50 accumulator on Novak Djokovic (11/8) and Serena Williams (7/4) to win the Mens and Women’s titles at Wimbledon, New Zealand to win the Rugby World Cup at 11/8, Dublin (5/4) and Kilkenny (15/8) to win the All Ireland Football and Hurling, Celtic (1/33) to win the Scottish Premier League, Bayern Munich (1/12) to win the Bundesliga, PSG (1/7) to win the French Ligue 1, Juventus (4/7) to win Serie A and it clicked when Barcelona (8/11) won the La Liga.
The ten selections defied the odds of just over 346/1 turning their €50 into a whopping €17,371.
