Clare Bat Group hosts Bat Walk in Dromoland

bats-164210_1280Clare Bat Group will host a bat walk in the grounds of Dromoland Castle, Co. Clare on Friday 27th of May.

This event is part of Biodiversity month with hundreds of events throughout the country celebrating Ireland’s diverse wildlife in the month of May.

Members of the public are being invited to discover what types of bats are living in the Dromoland area.

The Bat Walk will be led by David Lyons and Elaine Keegan, Clare Bat Group. Admission is Free. The walk (meeting at 9.45pm in the main car park at the back of Dromoland Castle) is suitable for all ages (once accompanied by an adult), and families are very welcome
