Businesses participating in the Green Fleadh Business Programme are being offered a unique opportunity to seek free expert advice from the EPA Green Business team on what they can do to reduce waste, water and energy costs.
Businesses servicing Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann were encouraged at last week’s Green Fleadh Business Seminar to sign up to the Green Fleadh Business Programme. Signed up businesses will commit to good waste segregation and recycling, prevent and reduce waste, reduce water consumption improve energy efficiency, ensure public areas outside the business premises is kept litter free and promote good environmental practice.
On signing up to the Green Fleadh Business Programme businesses will have the option of booking a free Green Business consultation. All participating businesses will be provided with a Green Fleadh Commitment sticker which can be displayed on their premises. Also all Green Fleadh Business members will be listed on the Green Fleadh webpage.
To acknowledge efforts made by business to be environmentally friendly all participating businesses will be given the opportunity to apply for a Green Fleadh Business Award. Business can sign up to the Green Fleadh Business Programme at www.fleadhcheoil.ie or by emailing envawareness@clarecoco.ie.
