Titan Logistics was named as Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 in the Clare County Final two months ago. Avokado Ltd and Celtic Fusion Design were named in Second and Third place respectively in the Clare final, which featured as part of a programme of countywide events marking Clare Local Enterprise Week 2016.

The National Enterprise Awards scheme is organised by Ireland’s network of Local Enterprise Offices (LEO) to give recognition to the contribution of micro enterprises to the national economy.

Previous winners of the competition have included Irish Yoghurts from West Cork, Hot Irish Whiskey (Walsh Whiskey) from Carlow and Innovate Telecoms and IT from Wexford. Last year’s Clare representative was “Aine Knitwear” from Clonlara who went on to win “Best Design” category award at the National final.
