The organising committee behind Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann are utilising all the advantages of its Ennis location, including the information technology strength of the town.

Competitors and visitors will have access to up-to-the-minute events, results and services information with the new app developed by local web services company, Acton Web.

Fleadh chairman, Micheál Ó Riabhaigh, is urging visitors to make full use of the app. “We’re delighted to be able to put all the relevant information literally into people’s pockets and urge them to use it for listings, running orders, results, maps and directions.”

The App allows users to save their own events and information as Favourites for easy recall. Overall, the message to local people is to use the App but make sure to tell your visitors.
