Two Clare members of Macra na Feirme were honoured on a national level at the weekend.
The Macra na Feirme National Leadership Distinction Awards are organised as part of Macra’s Leadership Training Programme. The aim is to provide opportunities for members to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes necessary for leadership positions either in Macra or in other voluntary roles or future occupations.
Cillian Griffey and Tom Meehan were awarded at the University of Limerick on Saturday. Griffey was awarded for his work as PRO of Clare Macra and is currently the Chairman of Ennis Macra. Meehan was recognised for his work as Competitions Chairman. Sean Finan, President of Macra na Feirme along with Jimmy White from ABP Food Group were on hand to present the awards. The Leadership Distinction Awards were in association with ABP Food Group Ireland.
