Torpeys get behind new golf competition

This Friday sees the beginning of the 2016 Open Week at East Clare Golf Club.

Torpey Hurleys have come on board as the sponsors of the Open Week. It sees the introduction of a new competition called The Torpey Cup which is a team of three competition for golfers who wish to represent their local GAA club.

Participants in The Torpey Cup will have the opportunity to win a €500 cheque and trophy for their chosen GAA club along with prizes for each team member. All teams are encouraged to wear their club colours during the event that runs all week with the presentation taking place on Sunday August 21st at 9:30pm.
