Thomas Barr becomes the first Irishman since 1932 to take part in the Olympics 400m Hurdles Final this Thursday.
It’s a special occasion for the country and the University of Limerick will screen the Final live from the UL Sports Arena from 3:30pm on Thursday.
Waterford native Thomas stormed home to win his semi-final in Rio last night. Drew and Hayley Harrison, Thomas’s coaches will also be in attendance tomorrow.
Regardless of what happens on Thursday, Thomas will be back in UL to attend his graduation ceremony next Friday 26th August where he will be conferring with a First Class Honours in Msc in Sports Performance.
