Clare Volunteer Centre hosted one hell of a party on Thursday to thank over a thousand volunteers who helped to make the Fleadh in Ennis one of the friendliest and most inclusive to date.
Thanking the volunteers for their support and contribution Sharon Meaney, manager of Clare Volunteer Centre expressed her pride to the volunteers of all ages. “You were asked to be part of the Fleadh, you became the heart of the Fleadh”.
The volunteer party, with traditional music, dancing, food, party games and a photographic record of the volunteers in action during the eight days of the Fleadh, topped off an amazing volunteer experience for people of all ages and abilities.
A big thank you has been extended to the volunteers for their excellent work during the traditional music festival.
