Bus Éireann has confirmed that from this Friday 25 June, the last daily departure from Galway to Limerick on Expressway Route 51 will be at 7.05pm. This service had been temporarily suspended from 15 May 2021.

Shannon Airport will receive a welcome boost later this year when Ryanair commences a new service from the Piedmont region of Northern Italy to the Mid-West airport.
