Clare County Council has welcomed the announcement by Minister for Rural and Community Development Michael Ring that three Clare locations have been awarded International Green Flags.
The presentation of awards in the 2017 “Clare in Bloom”, “Best Kept Local Authority Estate” and ‘Pride of Place’ competitions will be held at Áras Contae an Chláir in Ennis on Tuesday 17 October at 7.00 p.m.
Community and voluntary organisations across Co Clare are being encouraged to develop a food growing project in their area with a pool of funding worth €70,000 now available.
