This week Clean Coasts will recognise the work of some outstanding volunteer groups across Ireland by highlighting outstanding groups and individuals with Ocean Hero Recognition Awards.
Micheál (Mick) Ryan, an engineer with the United Nations’ World Food Programme, has been posthumously named the Humanitarian of the Year by the Irish Red Cross.
