The Killaloe unit of the Irish Coast Guard was tasked this afternoon to investigate reports of a vessel aground in Ballyvally on the Clare shore of Lough Derg.
The volunteer crew of the Lough Derg RNLI lifeboat was tasked to assist a lone skipper on 30ft cruiser got into difficulty twice on the lake this afternoon.
Lough Derg RNLI Fundraising Branch’s first RNLI Lough Derg Charity Cycle, a 130km cycle round the beautiful Lough Derg earlier this month, was a great success.
