Undocumented Regularisation Scheme welcomed

Clare Immigrant Support Centre has welcomed the launch of the long awaited Regularisation Scheme which will transform the lives of many individuals and families living here in Clare and all over Ireland.

Regularisation Scheme for the Undocumented 2021 in Ireland

Clare Immigrant Support Centre along with thousands of undocumented people in Ireland and migrant organisations welcomed  the announcement earlier this year by Justice Minister Helen McEntee of a Regularisation Scheme for undocumented migrants, which would allow them to legally work in the country, and provide a pathway to Irish citizenship. 

County Clare celebrates Africa Day

Africa Day is the annual commemoration of the foundation of the African Union, which took place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on 25th May, 1963.

Easter Tree of Hope launched in Ennis

A joint initiative of Inisowiacy Polish Folk Group, Clare Immigrant Support Centre and the Polish Arts Festival Limerick, the Easter Tree of Hope aims to allow local people to decorate their own Easter egg in a Slavic style and hang the decoration at a specially designated tree at Waterpark House.

Funding confirmed for two Clare projects

New Freephone number for community response Helpline

Clare County Council has added a Freephone number to support the community response Helpline. The existing number will continue to operate fully in an integrated way.

Syrian families take part in Children’s Book Festival

Children who recently relocated with their families to Ireland from Syria this week took part in a reading and activity session at Sixmilebridge and Ennistymon Public Libraries as part of the 2018 Children's Book Festival.
