Dave Flynn’s Irish Memory Orchestra is inviting applications from musicians aged 10 – 24 to participate in the 2021/22 IMO Youth Orchestra & Choir programme: ‘Vision and Memory’.

The Arts Council has awarded €73,000 to Clare County Council to progress a ground breaking music project with the Irish Memory Orchestra and 3L an online music education resource which aims to empower and support visually impaired musicians.

The Irish Memory Orchestra will hold auditions for its choir at glór, Ennis, on July 15th.

The 2017 Irish Memory Orchestra Apprentice Scheme is open for applications until 31st January with the incentive of Bill Whelan Scholarships and the title of Apprentice of the Year available to outstanding applicants.

September 17th and 18th sees the return of the West Coast Surf Club’s Longboarding Competition and Festival to Lahinch.
