Dave Flynn’s Irish Memory Orchestra is inviting applications from musicians aged 10 – 24 to participate in the 2021/22 IMO Youth Orchestra & Choir programme: ‘Vision and Memory’.
The Arts Council has awarded €73,000 to Clare County Council to progress a ground breaking music project with the Irish Memory Orchestra and 3L an online music education resource which aims to empower and support visually impaired musicians.
The Clare County Council Arts Office is inviting expressions of interest from musicians with vision impairment to participate in an exciting research project funded by The Arts Council’s “Invitation to Collaboration” scheme.
The Arts Council has awarded €11,100 to Clare County Council under the Invitation to Collaboration Scheme, to devise a unique music project with the Irish Memory Orchestra and 3L; an online music education resource which aims to empower and support visually impaired musicians.
The 2017 Irish Memory Orchestra Apprentice Scheme is open for applications until 31st January with the incentive of Bill Whelan Scholarships and the title of Apprentice of the Year available to outstanding applicants.
