The latest search to find Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur (IBYE) is getting underway in County Clare this week, through Local Enterprise Office Clare.

The Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Limerick and the Limerick Clare Energy Agency have joined forces to host a Community Led Energy Generation and Supply Conference.

Start-ups and budding entrepreneurs throughout the County have been boosted by the Government’s decision to allocate an additional €245,000 to Local Enterprise Office Clare to assist micro-enterprises in creating local jobs.

Two small businesses from County Clare have been selected to join 82 other SMEs from around Ireland at the ‘Local Enterprise Village’, a major expo for the sector being held over the three days of the National Ploughing Championships.

Women in business were afforded the opportunity to learn about how to turn stress into a strategic marketing tool and benefit their business.

A free clinic on appropriate colour schemes for Ennis businesses will be held at the Temple Gate Hotel this Wednesday from 6.30pm.
