This season has been one of firsts for Ballyea, tomorrow they play their first championship game outside Co Clare and they will be opening to collect a Munster title which the club has never done before.
In the space of two weeks Ballyea have won their first Clare SHC and qualified for their first Munster Final, it’s been a fortnight to remember in the club’s eighty two year history and their greatest.
At the beginning of the year Robbie Hogan questioned whether or not he would return for a fourth season in charge of the Ballyea senior hurlers, little did he think that he would preparing the troops for a Munster Final in the month of November.
