A multi-agency search operation was mounted this afternoon after a person reported themselves to be in difficulty in the water near Portumna, at the northern end of Lough Derg.Â
One person was treated in hospital after falling overboard from a boat that suffered engine failure on the River Shannon in Co Galway on Sunday afternoon.
