The flight landed at 11.19am and was met by airport emergency services who had been standing by.

The passenger, believed to have suffered a stroke, was assessed on board the aircraft before being removed and transported to University Hospital Limerick for treatment.

The flight was able to continue it’s journey after the crew had received a new flight plan and their jet was refuelled.
